About The Adoption Executive

Hi! My name is Lynda, and I am proud to serve Femme Felines as the Foster & Adoption Executive.
Ever since I was young, I have always had an affinity towards animals. All throughout my childhood and into my teens, I would bring in sick and injured animals in hopes of rehabilitating them when no one else would. I did this because even as a child, I recognized the value of life in all living creatures. I would bring home all sorts of animals, ranging from domestic animals to wildlife - I even had ducks at one point! In my spare time, I would also volunteer at animal shelters and walk dogs.
When I moved to college, my love for animals only continued to grow, and I fostered many cats and dogs through my local municipal shelter. Although I was busy balancing a heavy work/school schedule, I always had time and space for a furry friend in my life. I also worked for animal sitting sites on the side, and took care of all my friends and families fur babies when needed.
Graduating from college, my love for animals never went away. I began searching for more ways to help the animal community. This is when I stumbled upon Femme Felines, and I was soon connected as a foster. Femme Felines has taught me so many valuable lessons such as how to care for neonate kittens, and the proper ways of handling sick or injured cats. Growing with Femme Felines and becoming the Adoption Executive has been one of the most rewarding and valuable achievements of a lifetime. From responding to natural disasters, to TNRing community cats, and (of course) the many, many vet visits, I am grateful each and every day to have found this incredible organization and the people in it.
Fast forward to present day and I know my animal journey is far from over. My passion for animals only grows stronger, and I remain dedicated to giving my best each and every day in order to create a safer world for all animals, and bettering my community by helping felines big and small. I am so proud of my organization, and can’t wait to see what is in store for us. And of course, I wouldn’t be able to continue what I do without the support of my wonderful fosters. If you are interested in fostering or adopting, or have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me. I am available Monday - Friday by phone or email. I would love to hear from you, and I’m excited to work together to make this world a better place for our feline friends!
